The most recently talked about movie series is Blood Sisters. It is a Nigerian thriller series which premiered in the year 2022 and is streaming exclusively on Netflix.
This four-part episode series was released to Netflix on 5 May 2022 and the release of Blood Sisters was borne out of the collaboration of Netflix and Mo Abudu through her media company, Ebonylife TV.
The series which has been described as the first Nigerian Netflix Original series, featured an ensemble cast of Ramsey Noah, Nancy Isime, Kate Henshaw, Wale Ojo, Ini Dima-Okojie, Kehinde Bankole, Deyemi Okanlawon, Gabriel Afolayan amongst others.
The four-part series was directed by Biyi Bandele and Kenneth Gyang.
