To Kill a Monkey. The Movie.

PERSONAL MOVIE REVIEW; TO KILL A MONKEY

After watching the first episode out of my busy shedule, I have to negotiate with sleep time to watch the other episodes.

Personally, the movie is not just an ordinary movie but a show of what every responsible men face with life struggle. There are tough and harsh decisions wr take as RESPONSIBLE MEN just because wr love our families and wants the best for them. We go extra mile to put food om thr table of our family. Some of us even had to contend with emotional and psychological torture just to make family happy. The producer, showed that part of MEN and showed our weak points in that movie. I would have given the movie a 9/10 rating but for exposing MEN and showing to the world our weak side, I rate the movie a 7/10.

The character, EFEMINI as played by the brilliant actor, William Benson is a family man who loved his family and will go any length to make them happy. Societal pressure moved in and he is boxed to a corner financially but in all of these, he is still coming strong for his family. He did some secret jobs that affects his emotional wellbeing but he is unmoved so far such will be able to settle off the pressure mounted by financial disadvantage on his family. EFEMINI had to do quickies with his boss, MADAM ADUNNI just to settle bills. He faced malicious statements from his mother in law and other members of the society just for his "NO MONEY" ways. After settling in with deals with OBOZ DA BOSS and YAWA CASTED with threat from TEACHER, he had to be boxed into betraying his PARTNER just for a sole reason, to protect his family. In fact, he did all he had to do just to make sure his family is safe.

While EFEMINI did all these, his beloved wife NOSAKHARE raised loads of assumptions and just as it is the act of majority of women out there, he chased EFEMINI into the hands of the lady that silently destroyed his life and that of the family he is out to protect. Apologies to the feminine fold, if this will get to them on the wrong side. They do think very shallow before they act and hence, while EFEMINI dealt with obstacles to the happiness of his family, NOSA was busy opening her legs because of EMOTIONS accrued from ASSUMPTIONS.

Finally, EFEMINI lost it all.

I want every responsible MEN out there to make a great lesson out of this.
